OUR HISTORY

David Lapp was born and raised in Amish Lancaster County and was taught to work hard and work well. He worked as a project manager for Spruce Lane Construction for over 8 years and managed multiple residential and a few commercial projects as well. His extensive framing experience has earned him great respect from a variety  of clients and supervisors in his field. Dave had a dream of owning his own company and created Kingdom Building Group in 2018.                

Kingdom Building Group was started with the vision to impact the marketplace with Biblical business principles and serve the greater Philadelphia area with excellence. We understand the minefield that choosing the correct contractor can be and strive to make that decision far less stressful than it normally is. We are happy to provide references to whoever requests them.

We’ve particularly enjoyed a few projects lately in which we were able to reclaim beams and planks from old Amish barns. These were then used in a Creamery storefront as well as a few cabinets and a countertop in a finished basement. We value preserving the past but also love to blend modern trends and artistic craftsmanship to create a classy uniqueness that catches the eye. We’ve also had the privilege of restoring an old railroad weigh station which was converted into a beautiful guest home.
